I believe that everyone needs someone to talk to on a regular basis about their mental wellbeing and about life. Life is messy and it is full of ups, downs, and uncertainty. I pride myself on being that person for anyone going through the strife that life throws at them. I enjoy listening to people and look forward to the opportunity to help people navigate the highs and lows, the ups and downs, and the general complexity that is life.  For the last few years I have focused on Pornography, Sex, and Love addiction counseling. My focus in on helping men and women through the process of recovery and towards gaining sobriety. I am currently an Associate Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate (ASAT) working towards full licensure. My experience with Pornography and Sex addiction has come through a number of facets including a faith based approach as well as a secular approach. I am well acquainted with the 12-Step Process through Sexaholics Anonymous, Sex Addicts Anonymous, and Sex & Love Addicts Anonymous. Additionally, I understand and have experience with Celebrate Recovery, The 7 Pillars of Freedom, as well as Patrick Carnes' Gentle Path Through the 12-Steps.  In addition to working with various addictions I also work with general mental illness including: ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Spiritual Issues, Men's Issues, and doing various problem solving in my client's lives. I currently have my Masters in Counseling and my Masters in Religion from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. I also have a Bachelors in Psychology from Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts. I am an ALC with the State of Alabama and under the supervision of David R.
